On Halloween night 1985, 17-year-old Susan Snow was getting ready to go out for the night when she received a phone call that would change the family dynamic forever. Her father Thomas C Williams, a Los Angeles police detective was picking up her 6-year-old brother when he was assassinated right there at his school. His quick thinking was able to save her brother’s life but would unfortunately end his own.

After living 14 years of flight, fight, or freeze she finally had answers and a diagnosis of PTSD. She claims that EMDR and writing her book saved her life. She is the author of “The Other Side of the Gun, My Journey from Trauma to Resilience.”
